A case of malaria detected on Nigerian

An imported case of malaria was detected in the north of the country on a 35-year-old Nigerian national on Wednesday 12th June. The foreigner had recently travelled to his home country for a trip. His relatives said they had sought health services from the Ministry of Health for in-depth examinations after the return trip, but to no avail. The man, who had symptoms of malaria, went to the hospital on his own. He was isolated from other patients.
