TFP wins Qudal quality medal

The history of a family business

TFP has been present in the country for more than 65 years with a know-how of furnishing transmitted from generation to generation. It was in 1951 that the first furniture store of the Maharaullee family opened in Port Louis, at the initiative of the late Ismael Maharaullee. The first TFP store opened its doors at Eau-Coulée in 1979. Since then, the group has grown and the chain now has five stores throughout the island and one in Australia. Indeed, for the last two years, TFP is also spread abroad with the opening of a showroom in Melbourne, Australia. The group currently employs 70 people.

The TFP group is now run by the grand children of the late Ismael Maharaullee. Over the last few years, the group has revised its repositioning on the local market with new generation furniture, with a more modern design, with the ambition to adapt to new market trends.
