World Cancer Day: CANMA creates largest human ribbon

In the context of the world cancer day celebrated on 4 February, the Cancer Association Mauritius organised an awareness day at the Gym Khanna, Vacoas. On the same occasion, guests, cancer survivors and volunteers present stood together in the making of the largest human cancer awareness ribbon. The event also saw the presence of the Minister of Gender Equality, Child Development and Family Welfare, the Mayor of Vacoas Phoenix, members of Macoss, members of the parliament. The thousands of people present joined hands together along with the cancer survivors for a good cause and making commitment to help find ways to lessen the burdens a cancer diagnosis brings.
