Transferts à la tête de la police : l’ACP Madhow évincé du NSS

Grand chamboulement au sein de la police. Le commissaire de police, Mario Nobin, a mené, le jeudi 18 avril 2019, un vaste exercice de transferts à la tête de plusieurs unités. Mohunlall Madhow n’est plus à la tête du National Security Service (NSS). L’assistant commissaire de police (ACP) a été transféré à la Police Family Protection Unit.

L’ACP Madhow avait pris ses fonctions à la tête du NSS le 6 septembre 2017. Il avait été nommé directeur par intérim pour remplacer le DCP Lockdev Hoolash. C’est le surintendant de police Hurrydeo Ramdany, qui faisait dejà partie du NSS, devient Officer-in-Charge des services de renseignements.

Parallèlement, d’autres hauts gradés ont été mutés. Parmi : l’assistant surintendant de police (ASP) Narendrakumar Boodram, patron du Passport and Immigration Office. Il a été transféré au poste de police de Rose-Belle. Il cède sa place à l’ASP Manoj Lochun. Ce dernier, qui venait de faire son retour au PIO, devient ainsi le nouveau directeur de cette instance.

La valse de transferts s’étend à d’autres divisions. L’ACP Anil Kumarsing Dip sera responsable de la Police Training School. L’ACP Mardaymootoo Rassen sera à la tête de la division centrale. L’ACP Baldeo Hangsraj s’occupera de la police de l’aéroport. L’ACP Poomalay Munusami est le nouveau Divisional Commander de la Western Division. L’ACP Yeshwantdev Cally prend la tête de la Northern Division. L’ASP Sanjay Dussoye passe à la Counter Terrorism Unit. Ces mutations prennent effet à partir de ce vendredi.
