Lancement de One Moris : Sherry Singh dévoile sa vision en 14 points

L’ex-CEO de Mauritius Telecom, Sherry Singh estime que pour qu’il y ait une « alternative crédible », il faut une vision pour le pays.

Il a réuni la presse ce jeudi 23 février, en début de soirée, pour présenter sa plateforme socio-politique : One Moris. Selon lui, il faut une vision avant d’embarquer sur un programme. Il a expliqué la différence entre les deux : « enn vizion li enn destinasion, enn program se ki sime ki ou pou pran pou ariv pli pre ar sa destinasion-la ».

Sherry Singh dit avoir établi vision suivante en quatorze points :

2.A nation that wakes up with bountiful energy, to seize the sizzling opportunities of progress for its kin and country

3.A nation that chooses to progress and to build the country towards a consciously responsible and sustainable future through participative governance

4. A nation that feels secure in the fact that the law shall unequivocally and impartially protect its rights and that it has the freedom to walk, talk and make its choices without fear or favour, and yet, a nation that chooses to moderate its actions out of respect for others.

5. A nation, confident that its children have every chance to succeed in their different stages of life

6. A nation that dignifies its elderly, its women, and its people with disabilities, by taking care of them, but also, by especially creating the possibilities for them to keep growing and contributing to our society

7. A nation that works hard, but also smart, and that recognizes the value of balancing life with quality time for family, self, and a higher purpose

8. A nation that is not afraid to keep learning, and hence, is a model of creativity and innovation

9. A nation that actively invests its energy in taking care of the environment as it understands that it is its legacy to the next generation
