Salon de L’Automobile:Success and Satisfaction at One-Stop Shop

It has been three days of pure bliss. Visitors walked in on foot but drove out with their dream cars. Events Plus in collaboration with Défi Media Group, Défi Moteurs and Radio Plus organized its third edition of Salon de l’Automobile last week. It was a great success.

All the major car brands were present at SVICC, Pailles, on 3rd, 4th and 5th August. This amazing motor show attracted more than 60,000 visitors during these three days. It was a dream that came true for so many people. This edition has exceeded the expectations of thousands of people. Those who could not buy a car this year are already planning to make their purchases next year already!

According to Bruno La Charmante, Group Communication Manager, this edition attracted more people and now it has become an unavoidable fair every year. “All the stakeholders are very pleased with the outcome. They have been able to market their products and at the same time, they attracted as many buyers as they could.”

Unbeatable prices for the most luxurious cars

Leal & Co. Ltd and its subsidiary United Motors presented exclusive offers. It had put forward its famous brands like Kia, Renault and Mitsubishi. Renault highlighted its new Duster, which was as from Rs 995,000. At the same time, visitors discovered other Renault brand cars such as Stepway, Kwid, Clio, Captur, Megane Sedan and Koleos.

In addition, Mitsubishi introduced its new Mirage and the Eclipse Cross SUV the Xpander, the L200 and the Lancer EX, among others. The Mirage was as from Rs 630,000 (automatic version). The Xpander was presented exclusively. Kia, for its part, presented its full range of cars, which undoubtedly appealed to all visitors with its comfort and price. For example, priced at Rs 529,000, you could buy the Kia Picanto, the Rio was at Rs 725,000, the Cerato at Rs 899,000 and the Sportage was at Rs 1,155,000.

Furthermore, visitors got the unique opportunity to discover the following brands: the new Micra, Nissan Qashqai, Navara and Leaf. The new Micra seduced visitors with its look, its design and its new technology. ABC Motors offered special prices on Nissan Datsun Go, at the price of Rs 398,000 and Micra Active at Rs 565,000 (Manual version) and Rs 598,000 automatic version.

Toyota (Mauritius), on his part, offered all its range of cars at promotional prices. For example, the Toyota Yaris Hatchback was at Rs 875,000 and the Corolla was at Rs 1,024,000. It had put forward its new SUV Rush.

Lovers of French cars, Mazda and Suzuki, loved this fair. The Citroen SUV Compact C3 Aircross could be purchased as from Rs 995,000. The Mazda BT-50 was also on sale, starting at Rs 898,000. In addition, the new version of Suzuki Swift was at Rs 600,000.

Motorcycles and Electric Bike

The lovers of the two wheels were not forgotten. At the show, they had a large selection of motorcycles and scooters. For example, there was the KTM brand and Honda. The Duke 250 and the Japanese Sporty RC 250 cost Rs 151,200 and Rs 160,400 respectively. On the other hand, Sun Industries offered five models and the new Super Soco.

Accessories

In the atrium, different exhibitors promoted car and motorcycle accessories. Thus, under one roof, a visitor got everything he wanted for his vehicle. For example, there were helmets, lubricants and two new Michelin tire models - Primacy 4 and the LTX Force.

Shell, for its part, introduced two new products: Shell Screen Wash and Shell Engine Cleaner. It also offered discounts of 10% to 15% on its various lubricants. For purchases over Rs 2,000, visitors had the chance to turn the magic wheel to get plenty of presents. Shell also launched its 'online' service to enable its customers to buy the various products online. There were also 'Led lights' for car and car cleaning devices among other accessories at promotional prices.

Leasing companies

Visitors had the unique opportunity to discover different leasing companies. Many people do not know about the real services leasing companies offer. Professionals were present to advice visitors on the different types of leasing they could benefit from in case they are willing to buy a new brand car. For example, for this fair, Finlease offered 100% financing without any deposit.

Visitors also discovered services offered by Spice LTD and Rogers, among others. Another interesting company was Fleet Pro, which has been promoting a new concept, “Why buy when you can rent.” This, firm a subsidiary of Rose Hill Transport, offer full maintenance leasing for individuals as well as companies.
