I-Tint: Innovative in solar window films

Manveer Aubeeluck, a car lover, decided to give real comforts to all drivers across the island. He came up with the idea of marketing quality solar control window films. Let’s meet this entrepreneur with a creative mind and who promotes high quality products. 33-year old Manveer is among the first entrepreneurs who started marketing quality solar control window films for the comfort and wellbeing of Mauritian drivers. He aims at giving the best products and services in solar protection, safety and security for drivers and passengers. In 2013, he launched the Auto Tint Experts, which provides solar window film application for cars, offices and buildings. While installing films, they take into consideration local legislations governing vehicle window tints, and offer their clients legally permissible tints that are invisible after application, but that also filter harmful UV radiations and solar heat. According to the company’s director, Manveer, solar film application is beneficial to the occupants of a vehicle, home or office as the necessary output of AC is decreased due to a reduction in solar heat gain, thanks to the application of solar films.

It was a personal experience that motivated the young man to come up with this idea. One day, when Manveer was driving in the afternoon, the sun’s glare almost blinded him. This inconvenience prompted him to look for a solution. “After successfully completing a LLumar course in solar window film application for vehicles in South Africa, I decided to set up a professional tint shop in Mauritius. At the start, the business was solely about solar window film application for vehicles as ‘Anti Smash and Grab’ films were still unknown to the local market,” he says. It was a dream come true for the young man who has had the very urge to come up with something innovative.

As a result of higher demand in tints for buildings, Manveer launched I-Tint (Mauritius) Ltd in 2015 to cater for building as well. Auto Tint Experts and I-Tint collectively provide their services to offices, buildings, individuals and vehicle owners who seek protection against UV rays; the main cause of skin cancer, cataract and skin ageing. “Both companies cater for vehicle owners who seek to apply safety and security films which prevent broken pieces of glass scattering in the event of an attack or accidents, thus minimising risks of injury from shards,” he reveals. He proposes the best suited films depending on the client’s demands, needs and budget. Their after sales services have received positive feedbacks and most of his customers have expressed their satisfaction with the services rendered. “Auto Tint Experts and I-Tint strive to satisfy their clients’ demands at the highest level of professionalism. Quality and customer satisfaction always come first.” The whole film application process takes approximately one hour for a car and customers are well looked after during that time. Auto Tint Experts also pioneered applying tints on the rear windshield of a vehicle in one single sheet of film, which was almost impossible some years ago. Every new project is a challenge for Manveer. “For every project, you need to make sacrifices and persevere to achieve the best results. It was really challenging to make ourselves known. I believe the best marketing comes from satisfied clients who recommend our services to others, even though competition is very fierce in this field.” They also offer Nano Ceramic films for the front windscreen; these films reduce glare and solar heat. “The most difficult rear windscreens to work on are the Nissan AK12, the Renault Clio, Honda Hatchback and the Citroen C5. It can take up to 15 minutes to heat shrink films to these rear windshields, when the average time for other vehicles is less than two minutes! I-Tint currently provides services on a larger scale to homeowners and offices. The products available include decorative tints, solar protection, UV filter, and safety and security films that are professionally installed and backed up with a factory warranty,” he confides.
