Tragic end of Amit Parmessur

21-year old Amit Parmessur, residing at Caroline, Bel Air Rivière Sèche, was run over by a lorry at Quartier Militaire in the early morning of Thursday while undertaking the pilgrimage to Ganga Talao. Seven other pilgrims were injured during the accident and have been taken to Flacq hospital. The driver has been arrested.
