Piton State College bags six awards for its short film

It is time for rejoice for Piton State College, which won six trophies at the award ceremony of the MFDC Inter-college Film Competition 2017.

The six trophies won are in the following categories: Best Special Video Graphics, Best Actor above 15, Best Script 3rd Prize, Best Photography 3rd Prize, and Best Film by Jury’s Vote 3rd Prize but the most significant one had to be the Best Film Award by Public vote.

The college had shot a short film entitled “RUN,” which depicts the story of a 17-year old boy, Fabrice, who has to take a leap of faith in order to make his country proud. It shows the journey of this young man towards success.

The cast and crew consisted of the following persons: Teddy Reine de Carthage, Ibrahim Niamut (Coach), Daneesh Bhojraz, Roshan Seeam, Philippe Lew Kim Ping, Ankush Chetan Doorbeejun, Ismail Imrit, Hiteshsingh Yudish Nutcheddy and Vidya Sookun.
