For a lovely, relaxing day at sea, enjoy the full day catamaran excursion to Ile aux Cerfs. Once you get onboard, breakfast will be served. You will then be sailing within safety on the splendid and historic turquoise lagoon of the east of the island. Indeed, the eastern part of the island has witnessed tough pirate activities as well as naval skirmishes. In 1810, it was the scene of the ‘Battle of Vieux Grand Port’ between the French and English colonial powers. The scene unfolding will set you in the mood to enjoy the sea, the sun, the breeze, family, friends and fun. The catamaran departs from Pointe Jerome, near the authentic village of Mahebourg and the Marine Park of Blue Bay, which is protected under the International Ramsar Convention. You will have the opportunity to snorkel and swim during a stop-over at Eau Bleue, facing Pointe Diable, before visiting the ‘Grande Riviere Sud-Est’ waterfall. Croisieres Turquoise was the first operators in Mauritius in this segment of business. It is the family ambiance on board the catamarans which made it so famous.
