Since the early 2000s, Medine has begun to think strategically about the future of its activities and its 10,000 hectares of land. This reflection led the group to work since 2005 on a Master Plan, whose ambition was to create a new town on the lands of Medine, in a region that stretches between Flic en Flac, Cascavelle and Bambous. In 2012, the authorities wanted to position the country as a Knowledge Hub, which corresponded to Medine's vision of anchoring the development of its city on a knowledge-based economy, the group worked on a Master Plan committed to the materialization of a smart and dynamic city with a ‘Live-Work-Enjoy’ approach.
“We proudly welcome the distinction the Board of Investment has received. This demonstrates the relevance of our Smart City project and supports Medine's vision of redesigning the West Coast and the country with projects that are part of a sustainable development approach,” said Thierry Sauzier, CEO of Group of Medine.
