Parlement : Boolell ne pourra poser sa PNQ sur la réforme de la pension 

Pas de Private Notice Question (PNQ) à l’Assemblée nationale, ce mardi 9 juin. Selon nos recoupements, elle a été rejetée peu avant 10 heures par le Clerk de l’hémicycle pour des raisons encore inconnues.

La PNQ était axée sur la réforme du système de pension et était adressée au ministre des Finances, Renganaden Padayachy. 

En revanche, la séance de Prime Minister's Question Time (PMQT) est maintenue.

Voici la PNQ que le leader de l'Opposition voulait addresser au ministre des Finances :

To ask the Honorable Minister of Finance Economic Planning and Development
 
With regard to the proposed pension reform announced in his budget speech, will he inform the House what are the detailed changes which Government will bring to the universal non-contributory Basic Retirement Pension (BRP), stating also-
 
(a)when the proposed changes to the BRP will take effect;
 
(b)to what extent these changes will affect -
(i)the basic invalidity pension;
(ii)widows’ pensions;
 
(c) the total yearly estimated costs of non-contributory pensions over the next 3 years;
 
(d) the estimated amount of money which the Contribution Sociale Généralisée (CSG) will contribute to non-contributory pensions in financial year 2023- 2024?
