“As we look to spread our wings further, we are always looking for strategic partnerships and acquisitions with established local DMCs across the world to bring them under the Travstarz Banner. Travstarz Mauritius is another step in the direction where we have acquired strategic stake in Holiday Seven Ltd., a well-established DMC in Mauritius which is now Travstarz Mauritius. The Mauritius office will not only be an Inbound DMC for Mauritius but will also look after the sales & marketing of our online portal www.travelrezonline.com for the Mauritius and other African markets,” said Nagpal.

Fardeen Ebrahimsaib, Director, Travstarz Mauritius added: “We have had a strong presence in Mauritius for the past several years with our own fleet of vehicles, permanent airport representatives and almost all major contracted hotels and we are very glad to be a part of Travstarz Global Group now. We do hope that we will be able to better service the Indian market now under the Travstarz Banner.”

Pankaj Nagpal, Managing Director, Travstarz Global Group highlighted: “We are of course looking at growing our numbers for Mauritius with our own office there but I personally wish to develop some unique and innovative products for a beautiful destination like Mauritius which, according to me, needs to be positioned better in order to utilize its full potential. I want to take away the established image of Mauritius as a honeymoon destination only with the regular 3 full-day sightseeing kind of itinerary that has been selling in India so far.”

He further added that the destination has a lot to offer for families, youngsters, casino lovers and nature lovers and can be better sold to the young and experimental traveller of today provided they are well educated on the destination by travel professional. “We will work strongly in that direction. I must congratulate MTPA for doing a wonderful job. With this office we also aim to tap the African markets for our online portal, the upgraded version for which will be launched very soon”, he said.
