Terres de l’État 60 dossiers à l’ICAC et au CCID

Les cas de fraude et de maldonne présumées sur des baux qu’a octroyés le précédent gouvernement pour des terres de l’État ne cessent d’augmenter. Le nombre de dossiers référés à l’Independent Commission Against Corruption et au Central Criminal Investigation Department est de 60. L’ exercice de vérification n’est pas terminé. Le ministère du Logement et des Terres continue à éplucher des contrats de bail passés entre l’État et des individus ou compagnies pour voir s’il n’y a pas eu d’autres maldonnes. Certes, le gouvernement précédent a octroyé de nombreux terrains à bail et tous les contrats ne comportent pas d’irrégularités. Pour certains cas d’abus, le ministère a simplement récupéré le terrain sur les conseils du State Law Office sans entamer de poursuites
