Salon du Prêt à Partir : a plethora of attractive deals  

The yearly rendezvous for travelers is back. The Salon du Prêt à Partir, organised by Events Plus in collaboration with the Défi Media Group, will be taking place from the 4th to 6th October, at the Swami-Vivekananada Conference Center in Pailles. An occasion not to be missed for all those looking for great deals to spend fabulous holidays and moments with their family or friends, the 7th edition of the Salon promises to be exceptional again this year. 

Visitors will be able to discover new travel destinations and benefit from great promotional prices at the Salon. The Salon will be divided into two terminals; the first will be dedicated to international travel destinations while the second will focus on local attractions. The ‘International Terminal’ will include all the airlines, travel agencies, among others. Hundreds of destinations will be within reach of travelers at attractive prices. Those who prefer cruises will also be spoiled with a multitude of packages.

The ‘local terminal’, on its side, will be dedicated to hotel providers, leisure activities and parks, spa deals, among others. The public will benefit from discounts on hotel rooms and other packages. Leisure parks and leisure activities providers will offer promotions on entrance tickets or activities. The online booking platform Défi Deal will also be present and will offer attractive deals from service providers for sea activities, stays in hotels, restaurants and many more.

Gwendoline De Speville–Genestar, Brand & Marketing Manager at Le Défi Media Group, explains that this year’s Salon will bring together all the service providers of the travel and leisure sector. “The public will have the chance once again to discover international, regional as well as local deals. Whether they wish to travel abroad, spend a thrilling weekend with the family or a relaxing day at the spa with their loved ones, the Salon will cater for all their needs,” she explained.

This year also the atrium of the Swami-Vivekananada Conference Center will be inviting the visitors to discover the world through different flavours and dishes. Air Mauritius, the main partner of the event, will be offering attractive deals and packages to visitors. The Salon will open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during these three days. Entrance ticket is at Rs50 for adults and free for children under 12 years old. Free shuttles will service from Victoria Bus Station, Port Louis and Rose Hill Bus Station.
