Events Plus, in collaboration with the Défi Media Group, Défi Moteurs and Radio Plus, is organising its third edition of Salon de l’Automobile. The previous editions have made happy owners of brand new cars; this year, it can be you.

Today, the door of the most awaited Salon de l’Automobile has opened its doors to the public and it will welcome visitors till Sunday evening.  The two previous editions welcomed around 50,000 visitors. This year also, Event Plus is confident of a massive success and brings the best offers to all the visitors. Unbeatable prices for the most luxurious cars will captivate the attention of all visitors. A large panoply of car dealers will be present at the atrium.

Road Safety

The fair will focus more than ever on road safety. As highlighted by Gwendoline from Spéville-Genestar Brand and Marketing Manager of Event Plus, the fair will put emphasis on road safety. “The government is working tirelessly on initiatives to fight accidents and encourage safe driving. As a responsible press group, it is our duty to make our contribution. The fair will allows us to reach as many road users as possible.”

Exclusive offers

Leal & Co. Ltd and United Motors Ltd are the main partners for this most awaited event. They are presenting popular brands such as Kia, Renault and Mitsubishi during the three days. Renault is putting forward the Sandero Stepway as from Rs 699,000, the Kadjar as from Rs 1,350,000 and the Duster as from Rs 995,000. The Kwid and Clio are as from Rs 469,000 and Rs 749,000 respectively. The Captur can be bought as from Rs 1,186,000, the Megane Sedan version at Rs 1,080,000 and the Koleos at Rs 1,875,000.

Moreover, Mitsubishi is showcasing its new Mirage and the Eclipse Cross SUV. The Xpander will be presented exclusively. The famous Lancer EX is available as from Rs 885,000. The L200 2x4 will cost from Rs 865,000 while the 4x4 to Rs 999,000. Kia, for its part, will present a complete range of cars that will no doubt seduce all the visitors with its comfort and price. 

CFAO Motors exclusive distributor of several brands such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Fuso, Mahindra and Motul is present at the fair. For the first time, visitors can see the Mercedes-Benz. Volkswagen and Mahindra are also to discover. The officers present will also explain to visitors about their full service before and after sales.

The most preferred brand of Mauritius Toyota (Mauritius) Ltd is putting forward its SUV series. For instance, the Rush is available for less than Rs 1 million.  A special prize for the Toyota Yaris, Sedan (Rs 890,000) and the Hatchback (Rs 870,000) is available only for these three days.

Additionally, ABC Motors is unveiling a series of new models including the new Nissan Qashqai. There are also the famous Micra, Navara D23, Nissan Datsun, Almera and Sentra, and a host of others. ABC Banking Corporation, on the other hand, provides individuals and businesses with competitive and attractive leasing options backed by efficient and timely service.

Axess Ltd is putting on the forefront its Ford including Ranger, Focus, EcoSport, Kuga, Fusion and Everest. The Ford Focus “hatchback” finish is available as from Rs 968,250 and the new EcoSport as from Rs 1,158,250.

Mazda is showcasing its Mazda 3 sedan and the Hatchback version as well as the BT-50 4x2 and 4x4, the CX-3 and CX-5. The Mazda BT-50 can be bought as from Rs 898,000 in 4x2 single-cab, the 4x2 double-cab from Rs 925,000 and the 4X4 version from Rs 1,090,000.

The Peugeot 208, 2008 and 3008 as well as the brand Isuzu, especially with the Xrider, are present. Allied Motors Co. Ltd is presenting its Audi A7. On the Seat side, the new Ibiza as well as the newest member of the SUV range, Arona, is present.

Bamyris Motors is the subsidiary of the GBH Group which distributes the Hyundai brand. Among the models presented, there will be the i20, the i20 Cross, the Creta, the Eon and the Grand i10 Hatchback. EAL Man Hin & Sons Ltd. will offer the new Honda Jazz, Civic, Brio, Ballade, HR-V, BR-V and CR-V.

Leasing

Along with all the brands present, various leasing companies are present at the fair to help you in buying your dream car. For instance, Finlease Company Limited will put forward special offers. There will be tailor-made offers in line with the visitor’s budget. It offers individuals to take financing for a car, with option to purchase at the end of the contract.

Rogers Capital, Raouf Dusmohamud & Co. Ltd., Spice Finance, Cim Finance, FleetPro, L. André Nemorin Ltd., Vivo Energy, Sun Industries, MasterDeals Ltd., JVL Distribution, A. Chumroo Ltd. and Scomat are among the exhibitors.


Accessories

In the atrium, there are different stakeholders who are promoting car and bike accessories. So, under one roof, a visitor will be able to get everything he wants for his vehicle.  For example, there will be helmets, lubricants and two new Michelin tire models - Primacy 4 and the LTX Force.


Défi Moteur Magazine

The new edition of Défi Moteur is available at the fair. This 12th issue is a real delight for the readers with lots of interesting news, reports and features on road safety. Video coverage will be shot during the event and broadcast on the website defimoteurs.mu.
