SAJ announces new Finance Minister

During his 86th birthday party organised by his fan club at the Château de Labourdonnais on Wednesday night, Sir Anerood Jugnauth addressed various issues.

Commenting on his collaboration with his former Minister of Finance, Vishnu Lutchmeenaraidoo, he said their partnership made the economic miracle possible. The Prime Minister however added that he cannot count on the latter. He declared that there “will be a new Minister of Finance soon.” Sir Anerood Jugnauth also condemned those who speak against projects to be implemented with the help of Arab countries. “I will not sell this country to anyone,” he reassured. He appealed to the patience of the population and promise that he will make every effort “to leave a prosperous country to future generations.”
