PhoenixBev can design competition

PhoenixBev is inviting local designers to re-imagine and propose a brand new design and look for the Phoenix can. The competition, launched since October 20th, is looking for the most interesting and innovative designs. The winning design will be presented to the public during the artistic and cultural event ‘Porlwi by Light’ in December. The winner will receive Rs100,000 from PhoenixBev and will get the chance to do an internship at the Red House Mc Cann agency.

“PhoenixBev has always had at heart the promotion of talents and local artists. This design competition allows local designers to express themselves and to show us their own interpretation of the Phoenix. We want them to share their vision of this iconic brand and to show what it look like in 2050. The future of the brand is literally in their hands,” said Joelle Ramen Constantine, Senior Brand Manager at PhoenixBev.

The project is supported by local artists such as Miselaine Duval, Linzy Bacbotte-Raya, Bradley Vincent and Stéphan Buckland. Design proposals must transpire the spirit of PhoenixBev while illustrating the characteristics and identity of the Phoenix. The competition, open until November 20, targets all designers and amateur artists as well as professionals in the country. The three best designs will be awarded with the following: first prize of Rs 100,000, the second prize of Rs50,000 and third Rs 25,000. The votes will take place online throughout the duration of the competition and will be open during the ‘Porlwi by Light’ festival where 20 shortlisted designs will be exposed. Voting will continue for three days and the announcement of the winner and the prize giving ceremony will take place in mid-December 2016.
