Moka Trail: The 2016 edition moving to La Laura

Due to the FMD outbreak raging in Mauritius, the Moka Trail organizers are forced to relocate the place where the trail will be taking place to La Laura exceptionally this year. Instead of going to the Chassé de Bar Le Duc, to participants will have to go to La Laura where all departures and arrivals will take place. The good news is that 15 and 30 km participants will not have to take the bus.

The distances of the Petit Both (15 km) and the Grand Pouce (30 km) will be kept, but small changes have been made at the end of the journey for arrival at La Laura. Participants will not have to go through the tunnel of the new highway.

Moreover a brand new track awaits participants of the Fun Jog - 6 km, which will start in La Laura. A track will lead runners up the mountain side of Deux Mamelles where they can enjoy a drink (Km 3), before returning to the Moka Trail village. A still unknown journey to many, participants will have the chance to witness a spectacular view of the Moka mountains throughout the trail.

All these changes will allow participants to attend the departures and arrivals of all races while enjoying a crazy ambiance!

Over 2,000 registered for the 2016 Mocha Trail

Mission accomplished for the fourth edition of Moka Trail, organized by ENL and Rogers groups. No fewer than 2,100 participants have already registered for different courses planned on 1st October. 1,000 people will participate in the Fun Jog - 6 km, 970 will start the Petit Both - 15 km, while the rest will venture in the Grand Pouce - 30 km.
