Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa rewards its team members

Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa was keen to reward its Team Members for their working service within the Hilton Group. The Vice President Africa & Indian Ocean at Hilton Worldwide Jan Van Der Putten was in Mauritius to meet the team members for their five years, ten years and fifteen years of service with the hotel and thank them their daily work and their fidelity. According to the General Manager of the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa Jacques Brune, it is an honour to reward team members for their loyalty and dedication. “Many of them have evolved greatly in their careers and it is a great pride to be able to recognize the work accomplished. In every action we take, we put our teams forward because they make the success of our hotel,” he says. Amar Bisnaut, who has just celebrated 15 years of service at the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, has a remarkable career at the hotel. “I started as a trainee waiter and worked in different restaurants of the hotel until reaching Banquet Services Manager. It is always a pleasure to wake up and come to work. I’m part of a family and that’s why I’m still at the Hilton after 15 years of service. I remain faithful to the values of the Hilton and I intend to motivate my Team Members to follow my example,” reveals said Mr Bisnaut.

Kannen Padiachy, Assistant Learning and Development Manager and Maria Bayaram,

Guest Services Agent, celebrated their 5 years with Hilton Francesca Lee, Personal Assistant

to Director of Operations and Max Prudence, HR coordinator.

Jonathan Frivet, Storekeeper, celebrated his 

10 years at the Hilton, same as Michel Thomas, Credit Manager, while Jessila Vadeevaloo, 

Accounts Clerk, (5 years) and James Munbode, Accounts Officer, has spent 15 years with the hotel.

Darmendra Chinnapyel, Head Waiter, Lovena Polimont, Acting Restaurant Supervisor,

(both 5 years of service) Amar Bisnauth, Banquet Service Manager, (15 years of service),

Vaness Ramjee, Acting Head Waitress, and Leckraz Jeewoonarain, Restaurant Supervisor,

(both 5 years service).
