Hazard on motorway

A damaged street lighting pole is posing a serious threat to road users on the central reservation of the motorway at Pailles.

The pole was damaged after a vehicle hit against it around October 2016. It was not removed by the authorities and remains a potential hazard since then. Everyday, motorists crossing this area fear it might fall on any passing vehicle.

A reader who sent us this photograph says he has notified the concerned authorities but nothing has been done so far. Let’s hope the authorities react, before an accident occurs.
