Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 : Anushka Sharma, la seule actrice de Bollywood sur cette liste

Anushka Sharma est considérée comme la ''biggest power brand'' de Bollywood. Forbes l'a désignée comme une icône qui a eu un grand impact sur les jeunes tout en la nommant sur sa prestigieuse liste de Asia’s 30 Under 30. Cette liste comprend les noms de 300 jeunes individus qui ont contribué d'une façon ou d'une autre à apporter des changements à l'Asie. Le champion indien du badminton, PV Sindhu, figure également sur cette liste.

Anushka Sharma (née le 1er mai 1988 à Ayodhya) a débuté sa carrière cinématographique en 2008 dans Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi d'Aditya Chopra, aux côtés de la superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Elle a ensuite tourné pour deux autres productions de Yash Raj Films - Badmaash Company (2010), dirigé par Parmeet Sethi avec Shahid Kapoor et Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) dirigé par Maneesh Sharma. Ses autres films sont Patiala House (2011) aux côtés d'Akshay Kumar, Ladies VS Ricky Bahl (2011) aux côtés de Ranveer Singh, Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) avec Shah Rukh Khan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013), PK (2014), NH10 (2015), Bombay Velvet (2015), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Sultan (2016), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), Phillauri (2017), et Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017).

En 2014, Anushka Sharma a fondé sa propre maison de production, Clean Slate Films, en association avec son frère. Leur premier film a été NH10 (2015). Anushka Sharma joue dans Sui Dhaaga: Made In India de Yash Raj Films avec Varun Dhawan, et Zero d'Aanand L Rai avec Shah Rukh Khan (comme un nain) et Katrina Kaif.
