Defects detected at Floreal Commercial Centre

Following defects detected in construction works of Floreal Commercial Centre, the launch of So’Flo has been postponed to 2017. According to ENL Property the centre will not operate until the second semester of 2017. According to a statement from the promoter, “it is in the structural design that flaws were detected. These anomalies require additional work, thus explaining the delay in delivery.” Johan Pilot, CEO of ENL Property, said that their teams have found some discrepancies and that they ordered a reassessment of the structural design by an independent engineering firm. “This confirmed that the engineer failed in his responsibilities and we therefore terminated his contract. An international firm has been appointed to complete the remainder of the project. We hold the So’Flo project at heart and we will ensure that the project is completed in the best conditions,” said Johan Pilot.
