The project is thus officially launched following the obtaining of the certificate. It also validates the design, feasibility and vision of “work, live and play” as well as “smart & walkable” credo of Cap Tamarin. The new city will be erected on 105 acres of land overlooking the beautiful bay of Tamarin. The site will offer a new living, working and leisure environment while preserving the existing natural surroundings.
Cap Tamarin also provides for the creation, in 2020, 2,000 permanent jobs in various sectors ranging from trade to health through education, services, tourism, ecology and technology. Hiring priority will be given to locals. The trade mix-office-housing is already installed by the real estate division of the group which operates and manages since 2005 in the area. This Smart City will integrate innovative offers and economical and efficient environmental solutions in energy.
“We want to ensure that residents and users take ownership in Cap Tamarin, its spaces, its atmosphere and this new harmony based on diversity and social ties,” said Georges Talbotier CEO of Trimetys Group. He emphasized on the concern of developers for “community quality of life and health which promotes common natural areas around intelligently designed buildings.” Georges Talbotier confirmed that “excellent investment opportunities are now available to investors whether companies or individuals.” The total project cost amounted to Rs 12 billion.
