Budget 2018-19 : gas & mogas

Announced as “a gesture of solidarity with consumers”, the Prime Minister has revised downwards the price of the Mogas and Gas oil, as well as the price of cooking gas cylinders.

• Mogas : from Rs 52 to Rs 49.65 (Rs 2,35 decrease) per litre
• Gas oil (Diesel) : from Rs 41.90 to Rs 40 (Rs 1,90 decrease) per litre

Reduction in the price of (cooking) gas cylinders :

• 12 kg : from Rs 270 to Rs 240.
• 6 kg : from Rs 135 to Rs 120
• 5 kg : from Rs 112.5 to Rs 100
