Bubble Lodge: Immerse in nature

You will live a unique experience at the Bubble Lodge, which implanted itself in Mauritius this year. The bubble functions simply by air pressure. In addition, it is translucent and thus accentuates communion with Mother Nature. It is a very sophisticated place which has been conditioned to provide you with maximum comfort. You will find everything you need inside. The air is also conditioned and constantly filtered which allows for the removal of allergens and mosquitoes. However, the concept will soon be extended across unique spots in Mauritius, namely Falaise Rouge and Ile aux Cerfs, to offer a complete nature immersion to clients. “One bubble lodge will be installed on the edge of the cliff at Falaise Rouge. In the lodge, you can then flip through a fine history book which will remind you of the great naval battles that took place there, between the French and the British. The catering service will be all exclusive, for the lodge’s guests. On the other hand, the bubble at Ile aux Cerfs will be installed on the biggest banyan of Mauritius (60m diameter). You will be able to admire nature from your pillows,” adds Laurent Girard. You can discover and enjoy the bubble lodge as from Rs10,700 per night on half-board basis. If you opt for the half-board package for three persons (1 child) you will pay Rs11,690 or Rs12,380 for four persons (2 children). This price applies to Mauritian residents. It is good to know that the Bois Cheri restaurant is closed at night. However, a cook and a waiter remain on site, especially for the residents of the Bubble Lodge. You will enjoy your meal on the restaurant’s terrace with a plunging view on the south coast and Bois Cheri lake. If you love the concept and wish to discover more, various packages are available. For example, you may stay at Bois Cheri and enjoy the different activities during the day and relax by the lake at night. The next day, you can set off on a guided hike at Ferney Valley to discover the endemic species and spend the night at the bubble lodge at Falaise Rouge.
