(In short, stop killing people)

A Resolution (started by this author from the small island of Mauritius, now being diffused worldwide) aiming to become a resolution from us all, the 8,300 million humans on the planet.

From now on we will:
Re-urbanise, to enable people to live in communities where we will work, manufacture, grow vegetables, train, relax, practice sports and the arts, etc., in the same local area (moving on foot or on cycles); travel to other communities, continents, islands, etc., infrequently.

Produce food for all in a totally cyclic, sustainable way.

Produce/capture energy now mainly (eventually only) from renewable sources of sun, wind, and biomass and, when research will have made it safe, from nuclear fusion.

Use diplomacy (dialogue and arbitration) to solve differences and conflicts between communities, groups, states, and other groups – never guns, bombs, and missiles as arguments; reform, by the UN General Assembly, of its Security Council, in enlarged composition, without vetoes and backed by an Arbitration Tribunal; and for cases when this fails to solve conflicts, an intervention force to solve such conflicts.

Combat all factors which are now causing global warming and climate change, to fully preserve it as a LIFE-SUPPORTING PLANET.

Research for and replace all technological equipment running on fossil fuels such as gas, petrol, and coal.

WE ASK, WE SUPPLICATE, WE DEMAND THAT ALL ADOPT THIS STATED OBJECTIVE OF TOTAL RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE: TOTAL, UNCONDITIONAL. (In short, completely stop killing people).

As a corollary, respect for animal and vegetal life on this planet, known so far as the only or very, very rare among the trillion of planets in this and other galaxies to support LIFE.
In preliminary details, the Project, in Practice, is as follows:

NO ONE SHALL BE EXECUTED. (Life imprisonment if necessary and merited, but never end someone’s life before God recalls him back!)

Take all necessary precautions and control systems to slow down traffic and car/vehicle driving on roads (including the replacement by mass transport systems such as electric trains and re-urbanization so as to eliminate the need for daily travel to work/school/etc.) SO THAT

NO ONE DIES ON THE ROAD IN ACCIDENTS (at present over 1.2 to 1.3 MILLION people die on the roads each year, for a total world population of 8.3 billion humans, with all the suffering which car accidents represent. So aim: zero deaths on roads!).

THE VERY, VERY NECESSARY REPLACEMENT IN SOCIETY OF ALL LETHAL ARMS (such as revolvers, guns, hunting knives, etc. (whether for policing or personal protection of citizens))

BY NON-LETHAL MEANS. Major research needed to identify, design, construct such non-lethal weapons.

In case of conflict/differences between peoples, nations, and groups, the REPLACEMENT of guns, missiles, bombs as arguments BY DIALOGUE AND ARBITRATION.

Review of ALL technical operations to ensure elimination of causes of accidents (and deaths) of persons or animals. Pay/contribute funds to compensate each person killed directly (i.e. murdered) or indirectly because of bombing, starvation, absence of hospital facilities, destroyed habitats, e.g. in Gaza, these having been destroyed purposefully, as well as by other war-related causes. Which funds can be used to rebuild destroyed homes or for personal development of remaining family/colleagues. Mentioned here are a few numbers of people killed in military occupation/wars:

In Gaza, total casualties exceeded 70,000 Palestinians with a very high proportion of women and children (supporting the accusation of attempted genocide of the inhabitants by Israel) and 1,400 Israeli citizens.

In the war between Ukraine and Russia, by early 2026, Ukrainian military fatalities/missing are estimated at over 175,000, with overall casualties exceeding 1.5 million Ukrainians and Russians killed.

In the Sudan conflict, significant fatalities are ongoing, with 20,000 casualties estimated in a recent 12-month period.

An estimated 4.5 million people died directly or indirectly in major post-9/11 war zones (in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Ukraine, Sudan, and others). In the 20th century, with two World Wars, over 100 million people were killed!

Review our life-guiding philosophies, to imperatively include, for example: in life, make LOVE, not WAR; attempt to literally change the world, influence people to live and make decisions for themselves, based on Gandhi’s way of non-violence, self-sufficiency, and brotherhood.
