Betamax Saga: More waiting for Ramgoolam

The investigation in the Betamax case has been completed and the case has been submitted to the office of the DPP for further advice. The former prime minister is subjected of three provisional charges in the Betamax case. He will reappear in court on 14th July to find out where things stand. He is accused provisionally to have lobbied the former minister Mahendra Gowressoo for showing favour to Veekram Bhunjun, director of Betamax, to transport petroleum products.
