Ally Lazer protests against Minister Gayan

At around noon on Thursday, Ally Lazer, accompanied by three other three social workers, held a protest outside the premises of the Ministry of Health at Emmanuel Anquetil Building, Port-Louis.

They are asking Minister Anil Gayan to resign after the latter made comments that the situation regarding synthetic drugs “is not alarming”. Ally Lazer will circulate a petition throughout the island to ask for the dismissal of Anil Gayan. The petition will be handed to Prime Minister Sir Anerood Jugnauth thereafter.
