Passage of cyclone Berguitta – Bulletin 10 Now that all cyclone warnings have been lifted, Air Mauritius will be rescheduling flights once the airport is reopened and once we are satisfied that meteorological conditions are conducive to safe operations. The public is advised that the flights which were due to operate today will also be rescheduled. Information about rescheduled flights will be conveyed directly to passengers through our Call Centre or through their Tour Operator/Travel Agent. We kindly request all passengers not to turn up at the airport unless and until they have been advised of their new flight details. We will continue to communicate through regular communiques that will also be made available on the company website. Passengers may also wish to use our SMS service to inquire about reprogrammed flights. To access this service, they may send an SMS with the flight number to 52559090. If the flight is not programmed for the current day they need to leave a ‘space’ after the ‘flight number’ and type the date as follows: MKXXX ddmm e.g. MK046 1801.
