5th Edition of News on Sunday Painting Competition

The much awaited News on Sunday Painting Competition is back with a new theme. The goal of this 5th Edition, based on the ‘Green Wave Action’ theme, is to revive the youth’s creation of alertness for a Cleaner, Greener & Safer Mauritius. The competition also aims to promote the importance of Ecotourism as a promising sector of the Mauritian economy. As an enhancement to maintain our ecological quest, participants and sponsors will have the honour to associate them to the Défi Media Group’s Ecological/ social programs during the year 2016. The competition is open to participants for the age groups 6 to 9, 10 to 14/15 and 18/19 to 25. Three winners from each category will be awarded gifts offered by sponsors. The duration for participation will be from 25th March to 6th May 2016(Both Dates inclusive). Participation Coupons will be published in News on Sunday on the 25th March, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th April 2016 and on the 6th and 13th May 2016. The prize giving cocktail will be held on 14th May 2016 and will be covered by all of our media platforms namely Le Defi Plus, Le Dimanche/L’Hebdo, Le Défi Quotidien, Star, Radio Plus and the Web TV – Teleplus.
