The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development is inviting Business and Trade Associations, Professional Bodies, Trade Unions, NGOs, Civil Society Organisation and all stakeholders, and the public at large to submit suggestions and proposals in view of the forthcoming Budget exercise 2017/2018.

The priorities of the Government for the next Budget are; employment creation; poverty alleviation; boosting private investment; modernisation of infrastructure; achieving a higher level of human development and improving the quality of life for all.
The vision of the Government for the future of Mauritius is for a country of growth, in which every child, citizen and place matters. The deadline for submissions of suggestions and proposals is scheduled for 31st March 2017 on the following addresses:
