Boys and girls, we know that school is about to start soon but keep up the good spirit. Here’s what we have for you so that you can enjoy your last April holidays. 

Block Printing Workshop

This is a unique learning experience not to be missed. Imiloa Boutique at Pointe aux Cannoniers is holding a workshop on Saturday 22nd April on Stencil and Block Printing. Children aged from seven years and above, including adults, can learn this printing method. The three hour workshop, taking place from 1pm to 4pm, is at Rs1,200 per person and includes materials and equipment, samples and own print to take home. Safari Quad at Casela World of Adventures

Experience the excitement of a Quad ride on a rugged plateau and come across zebras, ostriches and African antelopes in their natural environment at Rs. 999 per person (entrance ticket included) only for 1 hour. Activities such as walk through aviary, safari to see zebras, ostriches, rhinos, wildebeest and other animals, viewing of giraffe, pygmy hippo, dromedary, children’s playground and petting farm are included in the entrance ticket. Fun activities at Grand Baie La Croisette

Grand Baie La Croisette Mall has lots of fun activities in store. As from April 22nd, sports activities for kids will take place. Mini Foot, Mini Basket, Mini Volley and others are on the programme. Daily activities available include Kids Playground, Game Zone, Rollers and Trotinettes and rides for the little ones. 

Plenty of activities by the Ministry of Youth and Sports

In the context of the April School Holiday, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is organizing lots of educational and fun activities for the youth. On Saturday April 22nd, kids are invited for an initiation to aqua sports at the Centre de Voile at Grand Baie. Those looking to making new friends and learn many new things, do not miss the chance to enjoy the holiday camps organised by the Ministry. The holiday camp will be taking place at Centre Residentiel of Pointe Jerome as from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd April. This activity is open to children living in the following regions: Cite Anoushka, Cite Sainte Claire, Bel Air, Cite la Ferme, Bambous, African Town, Surinam and others. 

Playtime at Captain Tom

Lots of entertainment and indoor activities await kids at Captain Tom found at Circle Square Forbach. As from Rs 250 only per child, kids can have fun with the huge indoor playground. The price includes free entrance for accompanying adults and one free drink. You will also have access to the Captain Tom Café. The activites are open for kids age between four and 12 years. Separate areas available for toddlers 0-3 years, and children three years and up. Captain Tom is open from Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm. Note that socks are compulsory.

Lego Batman

There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman (Will Arnett) wants to save the city from the Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Maybe his superhero sidekick Robin (Michael Cera) and loyal butler Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) can show him a thing or two. This spin-off of The Lego Movie also features the voices of Rosario Dawson as Batgirl.

Fast and Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious

With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has found some semblance of a normal life. Now, they must unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop Cipher from unleashing chaos.
