The exhibition organised by ABC Motors (distributor of international renowned brands in Mauritius including Nissan, Infiniti, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Porsche and Eicher) collected donations of Rs 333,000 for three NGOs. Through this fundraiser, Breast Cancer Care, Les Amis de Zippy and the Centre Joie de Vivre will further strengthen their impact in their respective fields of intervention.

This sum of Rs 333,000 is the total sum of all revenues generated at the ticket sales and donations of Rs 1,000 on every vehicle sold during the exhibition. To this sum was added a special contribution of Nissan South Africa and donations of visitors during the exhibition. The amount collected was divided equally between the three beneficiaries involved in various areas, including the fight against breast cancer, education and welfare of children.
Partisan in the economic solidarity and community charities, ABC Motors wanted to bring a social dimension to the activities marking its 31 years of existence in the local auto landscape. “Since the start of operations in 1985, the commitment to the community has always been at the heart of ABC Motor’s values,” said Dean Ah Chuen, executive director of ABC Motors at the cheque remittance ceremony at ABC Car Gallery, Phoenix.
He concluded: “At a time when we proudly celebrate our 31 years of activity of ABC Motors, it was essential to make a nod to the three charities we have regularly supported in recent years through our CSR funds.”
